Detenc is an application that works to determine the code of a set text file, using for this a visual inspection process. If you need to know this code, but don+t know how to find out, your solution is this small program. Detenc lets you go from place to place visually via various codes, and see the rendering of each one on-screen, and determine when you+ve found the exact code for your file.The visual inspection process is the following: select a file or drag it to the program interface, and choose a code you think could be the right one for the file. Then you can verify visually if the code you+ve chosen renders correctly, and if not, you can test others until you find the right one.To choose the different codes, you can lark them one by one, or use the mouse wheel if you have it.
