Glass Window is a free program that converts Windows windows into transparencies, with just one mouse click. Its control is as simple as clicking on the Glass Window icon, and dragging it to the window you want to make transparent. To return the window to its original state, you do the same but holding down the SHIFT key. Also, you can adjust the level of transparency to your taste.
