ID3Tag InfoTip is a Windows Explorer infotip shell extension that provides pop-up text containing ID3 tags information including the title, artist, album, duration and more, when the mouse pointer is hovered over an MP3 file. A typical shell extension is meant to help a user work with a category of files. Lets suppose you are mainly interested in MP3 files, but there is no system-provided way to know about the title of the song, artist or album it belongs to. If you manipulate media files extensively, then this shell extension can be really helpful for you. An infotip is a short bit of text that a tooltip control displays when the mouse hovers over a file of a certain type. This text snippet is meant to provide details about the content of that particular file. The ID3Tag InfoTip tells you the title, artist, album, year and other information stored in the ID3 tags.
