If you often use the Windows volume control, you will appreciate the value of MacSound. It is an application that installs the same controls from a Mac on your Windows desktop. This consists of a small speaker on a grey background, and a progress bar to indicate the sound level. To increase or decrease the volume, press ALT and the up and down arrows (you can also use the mouse buttons). All these combinations and controls, like some graphic aspects, can be configured by the user.
