OptimFrog gives you a new sound data compression system without losing quality (that is to say, without deleting even one bit of the original file). Other audio compressors exist, like APE, FLAC or ALE, but OptimFrog is capable of really notable compression levels, way above the others.OptimFrog runs on installation like any other .EXE program. It supports ID3 1.1 y APE 2.0 formats.You can reach up to 70% compression level, always depending on the characteristics of the audio CD you want to rip (above all if it is a really complete sound file). Also outstanding is the option to download various plug-ins from the author`s webpage, allowing you to play OptimFrog-compressed files on normal players like Winamp, WMMS etc.
