TimeCard has been designed to be effected on portable devices such as the latest generation cellular phones and palm computers (an exhaustive list of current mobiles that support J2ME). TimeCard manages the time sheets that professionals dedicate to various projects they are working on. The fundamental requirement is that the device supports Java applications in J2ME technology. It has been tested on: Nokia 7650 Emulatore Sun J2ME Wireless Toolkit 1.0.4_01 Emulatore Nokia Developer Suite 1.0 TimeCard can benefit all companies with staff frequently out of the office or where a recap of the time dedicated to a project needs to be effected at any time and any place without needing a personal computer or Internet access. TimeCard can also be used by professionals such as lawyers or consultants to track the hours dedicated to a certain case, in periods of time in any place (for example on public transportation or while waiting for a meeting to begin).. Unlike other Web applications which carry out similar time card acquisition tasks, TimeCard makes it possible to reduce Internet connection time to a minimum, because the data is entered and controlled offline by the user and is only later sent to a e-mail box via an e-mail message.SPECIFICATIONS
TimeCard can be used to: Manage an unlimited number of projects Manage an unlimited number of time cards, each with the following fields: Date 1st hour start; 1st hour end; 2nd hour start; 2nd hour end or as an alternative to hour start/end, total hours: minutes Contact Place Notes Management of expenses by type (taxi, lodging, meals etc.), for keeping track of costs that a professional incurs for various projects. Consult a report with monthly recaps on the entered expenses and cards Send the cards in HTML format to an e-mail address Manage system parameters including all the language of all the application messaging. At present the following languages are supported: English Italian Delete the cards already sent by e-mail.
