TORCS means The Open Race Car Simulator, which, as is logical, is a driving competition game, whose main advantage is its incredible realism. For this reason, TORCS has to be classified as a driving simulator, in the fullest meaning of the word. You have to measure your braking distance, depending on your speed, the vehicle will spin if you take the curve too fast, and you`ll pay dearly for aggressive braking. The graphics are neither excessively realistic nor defined, as most of the game`s strength lies in the physics and realism of driving. And it`s totally free.
