Virtguard is a digital video vigilance system. It works with the help of any digital camera, digital video, webcam and a PC. With this utility you can watch over your house or pets while you work at the office.Virtguard is a small tool that detects all movements, saves images and logs each one of these events. Also, it offers a simple interface that you can configure easily. It has various options to adjust the sensitivity of the image and the movement detector with precision. Virtguard has a filter that analyzes the movement detector results and checks to see if it is a false alarm. If it isn+t, it sends you a warning.The images obtained with Virtguard can be saved to the hard drive or if you prefer, you can upload them to your FTP server to view them from any PC via the Internet. And if you prefer, you can program the activation of Virtguard to start automatically, when indicated, without you having to be there.
