The Logo programming language was developed in the 1970+s, and results in an excellent start for learning the world of programming. It is ideal to learn the basic structures and concepts.Xlog is an interpreter for this Logo language, developed in Java and which uses very visual graphics and objects to orient the programming learner, above all for youngsters (for example do operations using a friendly tortoise). It also lets you work with words and lists. A simple example: the sentence "advance 100 turn right 90" makes the tortoise move 100 steps forward then turn right at an angle of 90 degrees.
