XPlanet is a wallpaper inspired by the well-known XEarth utility from Unix. XPlanet shows an image of the earth (or any other planet) on your desktop, letting you see it from any position, with the actual map of the hour, satellite positions etc. There are an almost infinite number of options and configurations, and you can also download new maps from the author`s webpage.
