ZipScan is a fast file search utility that looks inside archive files. The program can search Zip, CAB, RAR and JAR files, including some self-extracting archives. You can search the version resources of executable files, search for files containing a text string or for files of a certain size. When files are found, they can be viewed or extracted from archives. This is really useful if you have lots of Zipped files, if you need to search for drivers in your Windows CAB files or you are a Java programmer and need to search for your .class files. The program is designed to be used alongside an archiving program such as WinZip.
