Acquire is an advanced digital signage and interactive kiosk software suite of products that can be purchased or rented as a SaaS (Software as a Service) solution. Its freeform page designer makes it ideal for building all sorts of projects for DOOH (Digital Out Of Home) networks. It is ideal for in-store advertising , corporate display and captive audience networks. Its plugin based technology makes it both flexible and scalable making it ideal for single screens or networks comprising many thousands of screens. A key aspect to Acquire’s scalability is the PLUS! Network, a secure managed service that provides multicast content distribution, advanced scheduling, remote monitoring and detailed reporting of proof of playout and much more. The Acquire Player software includes all of the necessary CODECs and licenses for content playback. The player is self-monitoring and in the event of a failed deployment, it will automatically alert the PLUS! Network, whilst attempting to re-download the affected file(s). Similarly, in the event of a file becoming damaged once on the player (e.g. remote support accidentally deleting it, failing hardware, corruption within the video file itself which wasn`t previewed before deploying), the player will avoid playback of the containing page and similarly alert the PLUS! Network. The Player also includes a copy of our Sentinel security and management watchdog. This software interfaces with the Windows operating system and prevents both attacks (attempts to plug into the box locally or over a network connection to hack the box), and failures (software issues and reporting of hardware faults). Trigger levels of hardware monitoring (including screen sensors) can be set and monitored, hardware and software changes, application faults and more are recorded and reported to the PLUS! Network for alerts to be sent out, whilst the Sentinel attempts to restart the software or player to recover from the faults.
