FFRend (or Freeframe Renderer) is a powerful, free renderer for Freeframe plug-ins. Thanks to it you can join many plug-ins together and use them all at once, automate their parameters via oscilators, and record exits together in an AVI file. The program accepts both AVI videos and static images (in BMP, JPG or GIF formats) or source plug-ins as entries.FFRend is different from others because it is optimized for content generation by itself, while others only play back video or images they receive. FFRend will never let a single frame escape, not even on large projects that need all the CPU to render them. You can also vary configurations (reduce resolutions, simplify the plug-in chain, use a more powerful PC, etc) to vary the final frame rate. All the oscilator parameters and options can be controlled via MIDI.Finally, FFRend has support for plug-in authorship, meaning you can export any project done in the program as a Freeframe plug-in. This is a "meta-plug-in" and is made up of other plug-ins. FFRend is free and also of open code, meaning you can modify it as you wish.
