If you play the guitar you+ll know how important it is to tune your ear to play your favourite tunes or compose your own. For this, a group of guitarists have created The Ultimate Guitar Ear Trainer (also known as UGET), a small but effective program designed for those who are learning to play or who want to improve their guitar technique.With The Ultimate Guitar Ear Trainer your ear will notice the improvement if you practise a few minutes every day. The program works in the following way: it creates a melody, plays it and asks the user to sing at the same time. Later you have to play it on the guitar, then finally play it along with the program and see if you have heard it well.The process is very simple because on the screen appears a guitar neck with the corresponding chords held. UGET has numerous configurations for difficulty and the possibility to create your own exercises. Also, there is a clock which measures the time used for each exercise, something very useful to check your progress.
